Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
1. Who this applies to
This Privacy Policy explains how ADA Genie LLC ("ADA Genie," "we," "us") handles information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy. It works alongside our Terms of Service.
2. Information we collect
- Information you provide — such as your organization name, your name, email address, the website URL(s) you submit, and anything you write in a form or email to us.
- Scan data — accessibility results, screenshots of flagged page elements, and related technical details generated when we scan the public pages of the website(s) you submit.
- Billing information — if you purchase a paid plan, our third-party payment processor collects and processes your payment details. We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage and device data — basic log information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed) collected automatically to operate and secure the Service.
We scan only publicly accessible pages and do not attempt to log in or reach restricted areas. The Service is intended for organizations and their staff; it is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect students' personal information.
3. How we use information
- to provide, operate, and improve the Service and deliver your reports;
- to communicate with you about your audit, account, and support requests;
- to process payments and manage subscriptions;
- to maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers (subprocessors) who help us run the Service — for example, our website host, our form-delivery service (which relays form submissions to our inbox), email/SMTP provider, an AI provider used to analyze page content for accessibility checks, our payment processor, and analytics — under agreements that limit their use of the data;
- Legal and safety recipients, where required by law or to protect rights and safety; and
- A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Note that scanned page content may be processed by a third-party AI provider solely to generate accessibility findings.
5. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service (including a rolling history of scans so you have an ongoing record), to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your information as described below.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and you can unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in those messages or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; we will honor those rights as required.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
